The film follows Tim Flannery’s search for leadership on climate change. Where are the leaders who will drive change? Are they strong enough to triumph where others have failed? Tim poses these questions as he meets leaders past and present in the hope of finding answers.
“Climate Changers is an informative, impassioned film that delivers its message well.” — Jason Di Rosso, ABC RN’s The Screen Show

Our April meeting was a film screening (jointly with the Meet the Director group) of the film Aim High in Creation - a revolutionary comedy documentary by Anna Broinowski detailing a visit to North Korea to discover how its film industry used propaganda, and how those lessons might be used in making a film about coal seam gas in Australia. The director was present for a fascinating QandA session afterwards with a record-sized audience (over 100).
Thursday 17 August, from 6pm at Darling Street Anglican Church, 668 Darling St, Rozelle.
Our August Meetup was very different from recent meetings. Organised jointly with Rod and Lesley Freedman's Meet the Director series, It was a screening of the award-winning documentary film The Weather Diaries, a mother's meditation on her daughter’s future, overshadowed by the twin threats of climate change & mass extinction. Directed, shot and edited by Kathy Drayton who was present for a QandA session after the screening.
