CCBR-s 20-year history - in words and pictures
In July, three members of CCBR spoke at the IPC (Independent Planning Commission) public hearing into the HVO (Hunter Valley Operations) application to extend mining coal up to 2040 and beyond. They spoke personally, of the impact that the increased emissions, and resultant climate changes would have on many aspects of the life that we know, and that our children and grandchildren will inherit.

Also see the presentation by Nic Clyde from Lock the Gate, explaining the predicted level of GHG emissions through that period and beyond.
The IPC hearing is still open for written submissions up until 26th July.
