In NSW, personal e-scooters are illegal on public roads and footpaths.
Share-scheme e-scooters are allowed but subject to a minimum age requirement and speed limits. These only operate in local council trial areas.
E-bikes
E-bikes
In NSW, only power-assist e-bikes are legal on public roads and footpaths, i.e., you have to pedal to get help from the motor.
