Our Climate Meetups provide a regular opportunity to meet others who share your concern for the climate, find out what's happening to promote change and see how you can help take action on the climate crisis.
At a recent Meetup we watched and discussed this extraordinary - and shocking - video by Michael West and Greenpeace on the hand-in-glove connections between the fossil fuel industry and Australian governments
Climate Meetups are an informal welcome to new people, a chance for existing supporters to get to know others, and for everyone to contribute ideas. Meetings are at least on the second Wednesday of every odd-numbered month (i.e January, March etc etc) from 6.30pm - currently at the Merton Hotel in Rozelle. But there are more meetings as plans develop: watch your CCBR newsletters for the latest updates. Not on the newsletter list?
Climate Change Balmain-Rozelle is the group behind Climate in the Pub, a regular gathering to hear excellent speakers in a social setting. But we do much more to promote action on climate change at local, state and national level. In 2018, we won Most Outstanding Environment Group in NSW, an award presented by the Nature Conservation Council. Climate MeetUps are open to all from the inner west and beyond.
